Lake Camelot is the perfect place to raise a family. Formed in 1969, Lake Camelot is a safe, affordable residential community located just outside Peoria in Central Illinois. Our neighborhood is comprised of 620 homes and 1043 lots that surround two beautiful lakes (well stocked with catfish, walleye, bass, crappie and bluegill). In addition to the lakes, our homeowner's association maintains a community clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, beach, playground, park pavilions, a baseball diamond and our Clubs & Activities...
Lake Lancelot
Our lower lake (45 acres), great for boating, jet skiing, tubing, and fishing. Also includes a boat dock and no-wake area.
Lake Camelot
Our upper lake (42 acres), no wake zone, great for fishing and swimming. Also includes a boat dock.
Swimming Complex
6-lane competitive swimming pool with kiddie pool, and zero depth entry wading area. Snack bar and diving board. We offer swim lessons, water aerobics and swim team.
Baseball Field & Batting Cage
Full size well maintained baseball field that hosts community baseball teams and youth training.
Tennis Courts
Two regulation size enclosed tennis courts available to members. Half court basketball also available.
Swimming Beach
Adjacent to the clubhouse there is an all sand community beach staffed with lifeguards and available for seasonal swimming.
Clubhouse
Large clubhouse with large deck overlooking Lake Lancelot available for rental to members.
Playground Area
Near the clubhouse is an outdoor playground with swings, slides, spring rides, and digging area.
Campground
With electrical and water hookups, camp with an RV or tent. Roast marshmallows over the campfire!
Picnic Area
Near clubhouse, picnic area has a pavilion, tables, and 2 large grills. Near swimming beach, picnic area with pavilion and tables.
